Parc y Dderwen COMING SOON
Monday, July 25th, 2011
Situated on the site of the former Cwmtawe college, Parc y Dderwen benefits from a fantastic setting. There is a wooded area along the southern edge of the site and playing fields to the north. A number of mature oak trees have been retained on site, and give the development its name, which translates as Oak Park.
There is a good mix of property types, ranging from 2-bedroom bungalows to 3-bedroom townhouses.
The land slopes down to the south, with a number of large plateaus. This means that the properties benefit from great views over Pontardawe and the surrounding countryside, with each property having been designed to sit comfortably in its surroundings and compliment the local area. All the homes benefit from dedicated parking spaces and gardens.
And there’s something else you can expect from your Pennant home: a great deal of consideration has been given to sustainability and energy efficiency. These homes are superbly well-insulated, fitted with very efficient boilers and appliances, and constructed using sustainable materials including reclaimed or recycled products wherever possible.
The design approach has been to create a modern traditional style of property, with an emphasis on clean lines, simple detailing, high quality materials and a low maintenance finish. All of this will ensure that your home will stand the test of time and offer a comfortable, attractive place to
live, long into the future.

'Parc y Bont'. Local pupils name new development in Pontarddulais
Tuesday, June 1st, 2010
Pupils from Pontarddulais Primary School have come up with a Welsh name for a new housing development of 28 three and four bedroom homes off Trinity Place, Pontarddulais.
Pupils were asked to think of an original name and explain why they had chosen it. It needed to have something to do with the local history or the surrounding area.
Two entries were chosen as joint winners to name the new site: Parc y Bont.
As joint winners they were each awarded £10 of book tokens, with five runners up receiving a fun pack.
Pennant Homes wishes to thank Head Teacher Mr Jonathan Mead and his pupils for their help in naming the site.

What is Homebuy?
Tuesday, April 27th, 2010
Homebuy is an exciting new way for first time buyers to get on to the housing ladder.
You will own 100% of your home but only have to pay a mortgage on 70 – 75%, keeping your monthly mortgage payments manageable.
But the good news doesn’t end there…
There is nothing else to pay until you decide to sell your home.
When you feel ready to move up the housing ladder you simply put your home on the market and when it’s sold you retain your 70% and pay Pennant Homes the remaining 30% of the sale price. It’s that simple!
You can of course increase your percentage up to 100% at any time.
You can find Pennant Homes on Facebook and Twitter. Simply use the links below to follow us...
